Job summary

FirstCash is hiring a Full-Time Retail Sales Associate in Texas. The role offers a base pay of $12.00–$15.00 per hour plus unlimited commission and benefits.

You will help customers with sales, loans, and product inquiries, and support pawn and short-term loan services with clear explanations of terms. Ideal candidates are 18+, have a high school diploma or GED, and can stand, lift up to 50 lbs, and work a flexible retail schedule including weekends.

Qualifications

• 18+ years old with a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Ability to stand, walk, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform physical tasks.
• Flexible retail schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Comfortable working with a variety of merchandise (firearms in FFL locations; certification provided).
• Bilingual applicants encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers with sales, loans, and product inquiries
• Support customers with pawn and short-term loan services by explaining terms, completing paperwork, and ensuring a smooth, customer-focused experience
• Process sales and loan activity accurately while following company and regulatory guidelines
• Evaluate merchandise for condition and value to support buying, selling, and loan decisions
• Maintain a clean, organized sales floor and merchandise displays
• Handle cash and negotiable items responsibly
• Support store operations, including basic opening/closing tasks
• Communicate clearly with customers and team members
• Complete required training and follow company policies
• Perform other duties as assigned
