Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores in Russellville, KY is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help oversee store operations, customer service and team development.

Key duties include assisting with day-to-day store functions, organizing and transferring merchandise, opening and closing procedures, processing directives, maintaining promotional displays, supervising and training Store Associates, and ensuring a clean, safe, and friendly environment while protecting store assets.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Retail/store management experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day store functions.
• Help organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom and floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures.
• Process corporate directives and maintain displays.
• Assist in payroll, scheduling, cash handling and loss prevention.
• Maintain a well-stocked, clean store and organized stockroom.
