Job summary

Dollar Tree in Corbin, Kentucky is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service and team development. You will assist with daily store activities, help customers, organize merchandise and ensure displays meet company standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Store management experience in retail or grocery environment preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks as needed.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.
• Excellent customer service and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery truck to stockroom to sales floor as needed.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Maintain promotional effectiveness of store-front fixtures and displays.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged merchandise, and record keeping.
• Protect and secure all company assets, including store cash.
• Supervise, train, and develop Store Associates.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and staff.
