Job summary

You will help recruit, train, and supervise Store Associates, maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming store environment, and respond to customer inquiries with a friendly, professional approach.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical duties.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and written skills required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.
• Excellent customer service and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and answer questions.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process directives, maintain displays, and ensure policy adherence.
• Assist in ordering, handling damaged goods, payroll, scheduling, and cash deposits.
• Maintain a well-stocked store and organized stockroom.
• Protect store assets and ensure loss prevention.
• Train and develop Store Associates and maintain a safe, respectful environment.
• Keep the store clean, including bathrooms, floors, trash, and presentation.
• Additional duties as assigned.
