Dollar Tree in Tracy, CA is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development. You will assist with daily store activities, organize merchandise, and help train and supervise store associates.

The role requires strong communication and customer service skills, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and a commitment to maintaining store standards. This position is full-time and on-site at 1320 W 11th St, Tracy.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs. and perform physical duties.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and written skills.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.
• Exceptional customer service, organizational and communication skills.
• Strong problem solving and decision-making skills.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns they may have.
• Help organize and transfer merchandise from delivery truck to stockroom to sales floor and maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process all corporate directives and store activity communications.
• Maintain promotional fixtures and displays for effectiveness.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged merchandise, records and loss prevention.
• Maintain a well-stocked sales floor and organized stockroom to company standards.
• Protect and secure all store assets, including cash.
• Adhere to policies and safety guidelines; ensure associates follow procedures.
• Help Store Manager supervise, train, and develop Store Associates.
• Maintain a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and staff.
• Maintain cleanliness, restocking bathrooms, sweeping and mopping floors, taking out trash, and keeping areas neat.
• Other duties as assigned.
