Job summary

The Michaels Companies in Houston is seeking a Merchandiser Manager to drive merchandising and store operations including truck processing, inventory routines, planogram sets, and visual standards. You will ensure accurate pricing, timely promotional execution, and a customer-ready store environment through strong workload planning and inventory management.

Major activities include SOP adherence, policy execution, MOD coverage, and end-to-end merchandise flow, with focus on in-stock optimization

Qualifications

• 3+ years retail leadership experience.
• Ability to lead and coach staff to adhere SOPs.
• Experience with inventory control and planogram execution.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in leading SOPs and company programs.
• Ensure execution of policies and standards; hold team accountable.
• Provide Manager-on-Duty coverage and maintain floor leadership.
• Lead truck execution and merchandise flow to the sales floor.
• Own workload planning and daily task prioritization with store leadership.
• Execute Store-In-Stock Optimization routines for in-stock levels.
• Oversee Planogram execution and visual merchandising standards.
• Support a clean, organized store environment and backroom organization.
• Manage inventory control and stock movements; process RTVs/ASN.
