Job summary

BoxLunch & Hot Topic is seeking a Part-Time Assistant Manager – Level 1 to support the store leadership team in delivering the best customer experience and help fans access the merch they love. You will train new recruits, assist daily operations, and work toward sales targets.

You’ll use your fandom knowledge to drive add-on sales, manage the register, and assist with stock and planograms while ensuring a welcoming, organized store environment.

Qualifications

• Retail store experience is preferred.
• Passion for philanthropy and pop culture is a plus.
• Must be at least 18 years old and have a HS diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Support store leadership to deliver an outstanding customer experience.
• Train and mentor new team members for success.
• Open and close the store as needed and manage daily operations.
• Process sales transactions and drive add-on sales through available options (BOPIS, curbside).
• Understand and help achieve sales plans and KPIs.
• Assist with planogram changes and merchandising layouts.
• Communicate trends and feedback to management and HQ partners.
• Maintain stock room organization and store cleanliness.
• Collaborate with the management team to develop a high‑performing team.
