Job summary

BoxLunch & Hot Topic is seeking a Part-Time Assistant Manager – Level 2 to help lead our store with a focus on sales, people development, and philanthropy. You will support the Store Manager in achieving store objectives, recruiting, and building strong customer relationships.

You'll drive promotions, manage day-to-day operations, supervise schedules, and ensure an engaging, inclusive shopping experience consistent with our pop culture brand and charitable mission.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of retail store management experience.
• Strong communication, recruiting, and operations skills.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and handle a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Support Store Manager in achieving the sales plan and/or comp sales goals.
• Help recruit, develop, and retain a collaborative, passionate team.
• Promote products via promotions, social media, and services like BOPIS and curbside pickup.
• Provide leadership around running an operationally sound business.
• Monitor shrink, payroll hours, and associate schedules.
• Collaborate with retail leadership and HQ on trends and feedback.
• Run sales reports and use data to guide strategy to hit sales targets.
• Merchandise the store and launch promos on time.
