Job summary

Hot Topic is seeking a Part-Time Assistant Manager Level 1 to support the store leadership team in delivering an exceptional customer experience. You will train new recruits, open/close the store as needed, and assist with daily operations to meet sales targets.

You will manage register transactions, leverage product knowledge for add-on sales, and help maintain visual merchandising and store standards while ensuring loss prevention and team collaboration.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of retail store experience.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Able to navigate the store, merchandise products, and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Provide an amazing shopping experience and train new recruits.
• Open and close the store as needed; support leadership.
• Operate the register and process sales; drive add-on sales.
• Help meet sales targets and understand KPIs (UPT, ADT).
• Assist with merchandising changes and store presentations.
