Job summary

Goodwill of Central & Southern Indiana is hiring a Part-Time Retail Associate at the Indianapolis store. You’ll support store management and operate in multiple roles including Cashier, Textiles/ Wares Producer, Donation Door Attendant, eCommerce Producer, e-Books Producer, and Rack or Cart Runner to meet daily goals.

You’ll handle cash, assist customers, maintain a clean sales floor, process donations, and help with ClickGoodwill tasks.

Responsibilities

• Rings up customer orders, maintains a balanced drawer, and follows all cash handling procedures.
• Provides general information about Goodwill programs to educate customers and answer questions.
• Maintains cleanliness of the sales floor (purge, size, run racks, and merchandise).
• Sorts product to identify quality and value, and ensures proper tagging and hanging.
• Produces items per hour adhering to pricing standards and updates production tracking.
• Accepts donations, sorts products, and maintains a clean donation door area.
• Develops a keen eye to identify items of value for ClickGoodwill and packs curated products for shipping.
• Scans books and decides what is sent to ClickGoodwill or displayed in-store.
• Checks racks/carts for quality and ensures orderly merchandising.
• Maintains an orderly sales floor and stocks shelves.
• Updates daily production tracking sheet.
