Job summary

Goodwill Industries of South Florida in Coral Gables, FL seeks a part-time Retail Associate. You will assist customers, handle cashiering, stock shelves, sort donations, and help with inventory control to improve store efficiency and community impact.

The role requires a High School diploma or equivalent, strong customer service skills, and the ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends. Prior cashiering experience is a plus and bilingual skills are beneficial.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 6 months of related experience or training is highly desirable.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Prior cashiering experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of electronic devices.

Responsibilities

• Receive donations: greet donors, accept and unload donated materials, enter customer information into a smart device, and thank donors.
• Processing: sort, separate, and hang clothing and household items; sort, test, clean, and mark small appliances and other merchandise.
• Cashiering: conduct sales transactions and manage cash/credit card procedures for voids, discounts, refunds, and payments.
• Cleaning duties: clean bathrooms, floors, shelves, windows, break room, fixtures, fitting rooms, dock area, exterior, and counters; report repairs.
• Customer service activities: assist customers, price merchandise, manage fitting rooms, offer recycling bags, explain store operations.
• Bezier: Able to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
