Job summary

Family Dollar is seeking a Part-time Customer Service Associate to join our store team and deliver a positive shopping experience. You will assist customers with questions, manage transactions at the register, and help keep the store stocked and clean.

This role requires reliable, friendly communication, the ability to follow instructions, and physical ability to lift 30–50 lbs. Prior retail or customer service experience is preferred, with opportunities for growth and employee benefits.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks and stock replenishment.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and staff.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store including bathrooms and floors.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
