Family Dollar is seeking a Customer Service Associate to support a positive shopping experience. You will assist customers, handle transactions, unload and stock merchandise, and maintain store cleanliness in a fast-paced environment.

The role emphasizes strong customer service, teamwork, and the ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting and standing for long periods. Part-time position with opportunities for growth and responsibilities across store operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• Retail or service industry experience is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operating documents.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and restock merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and unload trucks; stock replenishment per productivity standards.
• Maintain a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and staff.
• Keep the store clean and presentable, including restrooms, floors, and trash.
• Other duties as assigned by leadership.
