Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores INC is seeking a Customer Service Associate II in Austin, TX. You will support daily store operations, assist customers, and cross-train to operate the cash register while maintaining a clean, welcoming store environment.

The role emphasizes strong customer service, teamwork, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Prior retail or service experience is preferred; flexible, part-time hours are available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous retail customer service experience in diverse environments preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
• Must lift 30–50 lbs and perform frequent walking, standing, bending and pulling.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills required.
• Strong organizational and communication abilities.
• Solid problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• High integrity and reliable cash handling.

Responsibilities

• Receive merchandise, unload trucks and process freight safely.
• Merchandise and stock shelves as needed.
• Maintain clean, welcoming store environment including restrooms and floors.
• Provide positive, respectful interactions with customers and colleagues.
• Handle sales transactions at the cash register and protect cash assets.
• Support front-end duties and cross-train as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
