Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores INC is seeking a part-time Customer Service Associate to join our Bastrop, TX store. You will assist customers with questions and recommendations, manage transactions at the register, and help maintain cash security and store assets.

The role also involves keeping shelves stocked, unloading trucks, replenishing stock, and ensuring a clean, safe, and presentable environment for customers and team members. Flexibility for shifts is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks as described.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked, and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and respectful store environment.
• Other duties as assigned.
