Job summary

Dollar Tree in Austin, TX is seeking a part-time Customer Service Associate to provide a friendly, efficient shopping experience. You will assist customers with questions and recommendations, handle sales transactions at the register, and help keep shelves stocked and displays neat.

The role requires the ability to lift 30–50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and maintain a clean, safe store environment. Prior retail or customer service experience is preferred; a high school diploma or equivalent

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environments preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs from floor to shoulder height and perform frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise as needed.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks and stock replenishment.
• Maintain a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and staff.
