Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores INC is seeking a Customer Service Associate II to help manage daily store operations, assist customers, and support front-end duties as needed. The role emphasizes a friendly, clean, and welcoming shopping environment and cross-training to cover cash registers and front-end tasks.

The position requires strong customer service, reliability, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Part-time hours are available, with opportunities to grow within the store team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environments is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs. and perform frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required.
• High level of integrity is required.
• Proficiency in basic math for cash accounting is required.

Responsibilities

• Receiving merchandise, unloading trucks, and processing freight safely according to productivity standards.
• Merchandising and stocking as needed.
• Maintaining cleanliness throughout the store, including bathrooms, floors, and common areas.
• Maintaining a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and staff.
• Managing sales transactions while operating the cash register.
• Maintaining cash security and protecting company assets.
• Other duties as assigned.
