Dollar Tree is seeking a Customer Service Associate to join our Austin team and deliver a great shopping experience for every customer. You will assist customers, handle transactions at the register, and help maintain a clean, organized store environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Prior customer service in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and handle frequent walking and standing.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and assist with unloading trucks; stock replenishment.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and colleagues.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, bathrooms, floors, and common areas.
• Other duties as assigned.
