Job summary

Family Dollar in Walnut Ridge, AR is seeking a part-time Customer Service Associate to provide a positive shopping experience. You will assist customers, handle transactions, stock shelves, and keep the store clean and safe.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and perform frequent walking, standing and bending.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain cash security and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and assist with unloading; stock replenishment.
• Maintain a clean, safe, respectful environment and professional interactions.
• Other duties as assigned.
