Job summary

Family Dollar Stores Of Arkansas LLC in Waldron, AR is seeking a Customer Service Associate to deliver a helpful shopping experience. You will assist customers, handle sales at the register, and keep the store clean and organized.

You should have a high school diploma (or equivalent) and prior retail or service experience; you will lift up to 50 lbs, follow procedures, and maintain a positive, professional attitude.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked, and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment in accordance with productivity standards.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment while maintaining professional and friendly interactions with customers, associates, and leaders.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, including bathrooms, floors, and trash removal.
