Job summary

Family Dollar in Ozark, AR is seeking a Customer Service Associate to help shoppers and keep the store running smoothly. You will assist customers, handle transactions, and maintain a safe, friendly environment.

Duties include stocking merchandise, unloading trucks, and keeping areas neat. A high school diploma is preferred, with prior retail or service experience valued.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery or drug store preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment for customers and staff.
• Maintain store cleanliness and restock bathrooms.
• Other duties as assigned.
