Job summary

Family Dollar in Marshall, Arkansas is seeking a Customer Service Associate to ensure a positive shopping experience. You will assist customers, manage transactions at the register, stock shelves, unload trucks, and keep the store clean and presentable while upholding safety standards.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or equivalent and prior retail or customer service experience. You must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and stand for long periods. Part-time work available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs and meet physical demands.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked, and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment while maintaining professional interactions.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, including bathrooms, floors, waste, and neat presentation.
• Other duties as assigned.
