Job summary

Family Dollar LLC is seeking a Customer Service Associate to deliver a great shopping experience. You will assist customers, handle transactions, and maintain store cleanliness and organization to ensure efficient operations. The role requires strong communication, teamwork, and problem‑solving skills.

The position involves lifting 30–50 lbs, stocking, loading merchandise, and maintaining a safe, friendly store atmosphere. Part-time hours are available at our Douglass, Kansas location.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail or similar settings is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and assist with unloading trucks; stock replenishment.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and colleagues.
• Maintain cleanliness of the store and restrooms; sweep and mop floors; take out trash.
