Job summary

The position requires good communication, organizational skills, and a proactive approach to customer service. Part-time hours are available at the Mount Ida store, with standard retail perks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs and handle frequent walking, standing, and lifting tasks.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked, and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment per productivity standards.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers, associates, and leaders.
• Maintain store cleanliness, bathrooms, floors, and trash, keeping areas neat and presentable.
• Other duties as assigned
