Job summary

Family Dollar Stores Of Kentucky LP in Flatwoods, KY is seeking a Customer Service Associate to deliver a great shopping experience for every customer.

You will assist customers, handle transactions, stock shelves, receive merchandise, and help with unloading trucks. The role includes maintaining store cleanliness and safety while interacting with customers and leaders in a professional manner.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and perform frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and lifting.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills; strong organizational and communication skills; strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks and stock replenishment.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and staff.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, restrooms, and floors.
