Job summary

Family Dollar Stores Of Kentucky LP is seeking a Customer Service Associate to join our store team and deliver a positive shopping experience for every customer. You will assist customers with questions, process transactions, and help maintain the store.

You will handle stocking, merchandise recovery, unloading trucks, and keep areas clean and presentable while upholding safety and friendly interactions with customers and teammates.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior customer service in retail/hospitality/grocery/drug store preferred
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents
• Must lift 30–50 lbs and handle long periods of walking/standing
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise
• Receive merchandise and unload trucks; stock replenishment
• Maintain a clean, safe, and presentable store environment
• Other duties as assigned
