Job summary

Dollar Tree, Inc. is seeking a Customer Service Associate to join our team and deliver a great shopping experience for every customer.

You will assist customers with questions, manage transactions at the register, and maintain cash security while ensuring a clean, safe, and friendly store environment. Responsibilities include stocking, unloading trucks, and restocking merchandise, plus following instructions and maintaining professional interactions with customers and leaders.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked, and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers, associates, and leaders.
• Responsible for maintaining cleanliness throughout the store, including bathrooms, floors, trash, and neat areas.
• Other duties as assigned.
