Job summary

Family Dollar Stores Of Ohio LLC is seeking a part-time Customer Service Associate to deliver a great shopping experience. You will assist customers, handle sales at the register, and help keep the store stocked and clean.

Responsibilities include unloading merchandise, replenishing stock, and maintaining a safe, friendly environment. Prior retail experience is preferred; lifting 30–50 lbs is required. This role offers flexible hours and opportunities to grow within the team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior customer service in retail, hospitality, or grocery is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and perform frequent standing and walking.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the assigned cash register.
• Maintain cash security and protect company assets.
• Keep the store stocked and recover merchandise.
• Assist with unloading merchandise and stock replenishment.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and respectful store environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
