Job summary

Family Dollar Stores Of Ohio LLC is seeking a Customer Service Associate to deliver a friendly shopping experience and assist customers with questions and recommendations. You will manage transactions at the register, help stock shelves, unload merchandise, and maintain a clean, safe store environment while upholding professional interactions with customers and team members.

This part-time role offers opportunities to grow within a retail environment while contributing to daily store operations

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. and meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked, and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment per standards.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with professional interactions with customers, associates, and leaders.
• Maintain store cleanliness including bathrooms, floors, trash, and overall presentation.
• Other duties as assigned.
