Job summary

Family Dollar Stores Of Ohio LLC is seeking a Customer Service Associate to deliver a great shopping experience. You will assist customers, manage transactions at the register, stock shelves, and maintain store cleanliness.

The role requires strong customer service, reliability, and the ability to follow directions. You’ll work in a fast-paced environment, lifting 30–50 lbs as needed, and helping unload trucks and restock quickly.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Assists customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and staff.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, including bathrooms, floors, and trash.
• Other duties as assigned.
