Job summary

Family Dollar Stores Of Ohio LLC is seeking a Customer Service Associate to deliver a positive shopping experience. You will assist customers, handle sales at the register, and keep the store clean and well-stocked.

Responsibilities include stock replenishment, unloading trucks, and maintaining a safe, friendly environment for all visitors. The role emphasizes strong customer service, teamwork, and attention to detail, with part-time hours posted at a local store.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. from floor to above shoulder height and meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks and stock replenishment.
• Ensure a clean, safe, and respectful environment for customers and staff.
