Job summary

Ashley Furniture Store in Wind Gap, PA is seeking a part-time Retail Office Associate who delivers world-class service, whether in person or over the phone. You’ll be computer-savvy, multitask well, and bring strong interpersonal skills and team spirit to every customer interaction.

You’ll process orders, handle payments, and assist with showroom displays while maintaining accuracy and empathy. This role offers room for growth within Ashley Furniture Store.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Strong business acumen and excellent verbal/listening skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel.
• Cash handling and basic math skills.
• Able to lift/move up to 25 pounds; bilingual a plus.

Responsibilities

• Enter customer orders into the system accurately and completely
• Process payment to proper accounts
• Security of cash and other legal tenders
• Prepare daily deposits according to company policies
• Answer incoming calls and respond to customer queries in a timely and courteous manner
• Schedule deliveries
• Maintain all open orders and communicate status with customers
• Work daily reports per company requirements
• Assist with showroom displays and showroom upkeep
• Assist Office Manager when needed
