Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Bradenton, FL to support daily store operations, customer service, and team development. You will assist with opening/closing, merchandise handling, and maintaining clean, well-organized sales floors and stockrooms.

The role emphasizes leadership in training Store Associates, ensuring safety policies, and delivering excellent customer experiences in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform frequent movements.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor and maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process directives and maintain store assets, including cash handling and loss prevention.
• Assist Store Manager in supervising, training, and developing Store Associates.
• Maintain a clean, well-stocked store and ensure policy compliance.
