Austin Habitat for Humanity's ReStore in Austin, TX is seeking a part-time team member to deliver friendly service and keep the sales floor inviting.

As the first point of contact for customers, you will assist shoppers, operate the point-of-sale system, stock merchandise, and support office tasks while upholding the ReStore's mission and standards.

Weekend availability is preferred; the role requires standing for long periods and lifting up to 25 pounds as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in cash handling and customer service.
• Bilingual Spanish and English preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and stand for long periods.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and merchandise items.

Responsibilities

• Provide courteous, knowledgeable service at all times.
• Know the ReStore layout and assist customers to merchandise.
• Operate the ReStore point of sale system and classify items at purchase.
• Follow ReStore procedures for credit cards, cash, and pricing changes.
• Restock sales counters and create store signage as needed.
• Assist in maintaining cleanliness and order on the sales floor.
