Job summary

BlueStar Resort & Golf is seeking a part-time Bartender for Trilogy at La Quinta. You will prepare and serve beverages and food to guests at the bar, restaurant, or patio, following company standards and reporting to the Food & Beverage Manager.

Responsibilities include greeting guests, making drink recommendations, handling cash, and ensuring safety and quality. A flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends, is required, with eligibility for benefits after 60 days for full-time hires.

Qualifications

• One year bartending experience preferred.
• Must meet state and federal minimum age for serving alcohol.
• Current Food Handlers Card and TIPS Certification.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide; calculate discounts and percentages.
• Flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Create a welcoming atmosphere and provide excellent hospitality with knowledge of the resort facilities.
• Greet and serve guests; suggest beverages based on preferences.
• Mix drinks, serve wine/beer, take orders, and replenish bar snacks.
• Check IDs to verify legal drinking age.
• Balance cash transactions and balance the register.
• Maintain a clean bar area and manage inventory for budgeted quality.
