Job summary

ColumbiaCare Services, Inc. is seeking a Residential Care Associate II in Eugene, OR. You will support residents per treatment plans, assist with personal care, administer medications, and help document care while upholding program policies.

The role requires QMHA-R registration within the first week and driving may be required. Training and fringe benefits are provided under the AFSCME agreement.

Qualifications

• Must be eligible for QMHA registration through MHACBO.
• Bachelor’s degree in Behavioral Science or 3+ years of behavioral health experience; or an equivalent combination.
• Will be required to register as a QMHA - R during the first week of employment.
• Driving is required with a valid license and background check.
• Physical demands include lifting up to 40 pounds and frequent activity.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to residents per individualized treatment plan focusing on personal care and activities.
• Administer prescribed medications and document on medical charts and count sheets.
• Transport clients to and from the program as needed for treatment.
• Maintain productivity standards for documentation of services.
• Follow agency policies for self-administration of medications.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Behavioral Science: Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, Human Development, or related field

Three years of verifiable behavioral health experience

Equivalent combination of behavioral science education and experience
