Job summary

Brio Living Services is seeking a Part Time Resident Care Assistant for a 2:30pm-11pm shift in Chelsea, MI. Earn $18.57-$22.28/hour with weekend and holiday rotation. 16 hours per week with a supportive team and meaningful daily care.

In this role you’ll provide companionship and essential daily care, supporting residents in a warm, welcoming environment and building relationships with those you serve.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Direct caregiving experience preferred but not required.
• Must be able to safely lift, push, pull, and carry up to a minimum of 35 lbs.
• Previous working knowledge of Electronic Medication Administration Records (EMAR) system preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on care – assist with personal care (ADLs) including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
• Support mealtime – help residents enjoy meals and stay hydrated.
• Keep things moving – support mobility, including turning, positioning, and transfers.
• Perform vital checks – measure and record vital signs, weight, and intake/output.
• Maintain comfort & care – keep rooms tidy, cozy, and well-stocked with essentials.
• Provide responsive support – answer call lights quickly with kindness and compassion.
• Monitor with watchful eyes – report any changes in conditions to leadership ASAP.
• Demonstrate respect & professionalism – maintain confidentiality while delivering care.
