Job summary

Brio Living Services is seeking a Resident Care Assistant in Chelsea, MI. This full-time role supports memory care residents with daily living activities, companionship, and a warm, respectful environment.

You will assist with personal care, mobility, meals, and vital checks, while maintaining dignity and safety. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma and a compassionate mindset; EMAR familiarity is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in direct caregiving preferred but not required.
• Must be able to safely lift, push, pull, and carry up to 35 lbs.
• Previous EMAR system knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on personal care (ADLs) and assist with daily living activities.
• Support mealtime and hydration to promote residents' health.
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning for safety.
• Measure and record vital signs and input/output as directed.
• Maintain clean, comfortable living spaces and restock essentials.
• Respond promptly to call lights with kindness and professionalism.
• Report changes in residents' conditions to leadership promptly.
• Respect confidentiality and uphold quality care standards.
