Job summary

Mathematica, Inc. is seeking part-time Phone Project Assistants to work remotely for our Survey Operations Center in support of national research projects.

The role involves conducting telephone interviews with study participants and entering responses into a CATI-based database. Candidates should have 1–3 years in customer service or research, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work at least 20 hours weekly, including some weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years in customer service, call center, research, or interviewing is preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to engage tactfully and diplomatically with diverse people.
• Solid organizational skills and strong attention to detail.
• Reliable with a strong work ethic and productivity focus.
• Able to commit to at least 20 hours per week, including weekend availability.

Responsibilities

• Conduct research interviews with study participants by telephone.
• Use a CATI system for all outreach and data entry.
• Follow scripts verbatim to ensure consistency across surveys.
• Enter survey responses into a database.
• Assist with other survey-related tasks as needed.
