Qualifications

• Minimum five years accounting or finance experience.
• Must reside within 45 miles of local Bookminders' office.
• Experience with general ledger accounting software.
• Excellent communication and computer skills.
• Ability to work independently with high attention to detail.
• Separate home office space with reliable internet and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Manage the accounting system for client small business and nonprofit accounts.
• Apply accounting principles, process billing, job costing, expense allocations, fund tracking, and board reporting.
• Understand client needs and implement Bookminders' service accordingly.
• Attend weekly client meetings to discuss financials.
• Track and report client billing information accurately and timely.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with clients.
