Job summary

Endeavor Health in Evanston is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse to provide safe, compassionate care on a designated unit. The role supports the nursing process, involves patient/family engagement, and requires IL RN licensure with AHA CPR/BLS; ACLS/PALS preferred.

Flexible start times from 5 a.m. to noon with 8‑hour shifts, Mon‑Fri. Benefits include premium pay, incentive pay, performance-based increases, tuition reimbursement, and retirement options.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of a state approved school of nursing required.
• BSN preferred.
• License/Certification/Experience: IL RN License
• CPR BLS issued by the American Heart Association
• ACLS and PALS by the American Heart Association preferred
• CPAN/CAPA preferred

Responsibilities

• Independently provides safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care for all patient populations on a specific unit.
• Utilizes the nursing process in planning, implementing, and evaluating the patient plan of care.
• Includes patient and family in the plan of care as appropriate.
• Mantains regulatory compliance in individual practice.
• Assumes the responsibility, accountability, and authority for outcomes of nursing care and to make decisions based on their therapeutic relationship with the patient.
• Guides and directs assigned unlicensed nursing personnel in delivering interdisciplinary patient care.
• Communicates and collaborates with nurses, physicians, and other members of the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and continuity of care.
