Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for a part-time role in Evanston, with travel to other Endeavor Hospitals. Flexible start times from 5 a.m. to noon, 8-hour shifts, M-F, at 32 hours per week.

Responsibilities include delivering safe nursing care, planning using the nursing process, involving families, and ensuring regulatory compliance. IL RN license and BLS/CPR are required, with ACLS/PALS and CPAN/CAPA preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a state approved nursing program.
• BSN is preferred.
• IL RN License is required.
• CPR/BLS certification from the American Heart Association is required.
• ACLS and PALS are preferred.
• CPAN/CAPA certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Independently provides safe and compassionate nursing care for patients on a specific unit.
• Uses the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate care.
• Involves patient and family in the care plan as appropriate.
• Maintains regulatory compliance in practice.
• Assumes responsibility and makes decisions based on patient needs.
• Guides unlicensed nursing personnel in delivering care.
• Collaborates with nurses, physicians, and the healthcare team for outcomes.
