Job summary

Endeavor Health in Evanston, IL is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse to provide safe, compassionate care on a dedicated unit. You will deliver nursing care using the nursing process, involve patients and families, and maintain regulatory compliance.

This role requires IL RN license, BSN preferred, and CPR/BLS; ACLS/PALS preferred. Travel to other Endeavor hospitals may be required. Flexible 32 hours per week with shifts M-F.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a state approved school of nursing required.
• IL RN license is required.
• BLS CPR certification is required.
• ACLS and PALS preferred.
• BSN preferred.
• CPAN/CAPA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Independently provides safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care for all patient populations on a specific unit.
• Utilizes the nursing process in planning, implementing, and evaluating the patient plan of care.
• Includes patient and family in the plan of care as appropriate.
• Maintains regulatory compliance in individual practice.
• Assumes the responsibility, accountability, and authority for outcomes of nursing care and to make decisions based on their therapeutic relationship with the patient.
• Guides and directs assigned unlicensed nursing personnel in delivering interdisciplinary patient care.
