Job summary

Endeavor Health in Evanston, IL is seeking a Registered Nurse for a part-time role (32 hr/wk). The position offers a competitive hourly pay range and occasional travel to other Endeavor Hospitals.

You will provide safe, compassionate nursing care, apply the nursing process, involve patients and families, ensure regulatory compliance, and collaborate with the health care team to achieve optimal outcomes.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a state approved school of nursing required.
• BSN preferred.
• IL RN License
• CPR BLS issued by the American Heart Association
• ACLS and PALS by the American Heart Association preferred
• CPAN/CAPA preferred

Responsibilities

• Independently provides safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care for all patient populations on a specific unit.
• Utilizes the nursing process in planning, implementing, and evaluating the patient plan of care.
• Includes patient and family in the plan of care as appropriate.
• Maintains regulatory compliance in individual practice.
• Assumes the responsibility, accountability, and authority for outcomes of nursing care and to make decisions based on their therapeutic relationship with the patient.
• Guides and directs assigned unlicensed nursing personnel in delivering interdisciplinary patient care.
• Communicates and collaborates with nurses, physicians, and other members of the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and continuity of care.
