Job summary

Cura Hospitality is seeking a Part-Time Casual Registered Dietitian for Parsons, KS to assess residents' nutritional needs, initiate interventions to maintain or improve status, and support quality of life.

Join our healthcare team to educate patients and staff, adhere to Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics standards, and contribute to dining and nutrition policy improvements. This role offers approximately 9 hours weekly with pay between $33 and $36 per hour, based on experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nutrition (prior to 2024) or related field
• Master’s degree in Nutrition or related field
• Passed a national examination administered by the CDR or eligible
• Completes 75 hours of continuing education every five years
• Licensed or certified per state requirements
• Knowledge of regulation standards for comprehensive assessments and care planning
• Ability to teach nutrition and dietetics

Responsibilities

• Provide nutritional expertise to the health care team and educate patients/residents.
• Follow standards of practice and facility regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with other departments to set up procedures and policies for dining and nutrition.
• Contribute to continuous quality improvement programs.
