Job summary

Cura Hospitality is seeking a Part-Time Registered Dietitian for Parsons, KS. You will assess nutritional needs of residents, design interventions, and support quality of life goals.

In this role, you’ll collaborate with care teams, follow professional standards, and contribute to ongoing nutrition education and program development. The position is scheduled for 9 hours per week with flexible days.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nutrition (Prior to 2024) or related field.
• Master's degree in Nutrition or related field.
• Passed a national examination administered by the CDR or meets the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics requirements for eligibility.
• Completes 75 hours of continuing education every five years, per CDR requirements.
• Licensed or certified, per state requirements.
• Knowledge of regulation standards specific to assessments, care planning, and residents’ rights.
• Ability to teach others, specifically pertaining to nutrition and dietetics.

Responsibilities

• Provide nutritional expertise to the health care team and educate patients/residents, staff, or consultants.
• Follow the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics’ standards of practice and facility regulatory requirements.
• Interact with other departments in setting up procedures and policies related to dining service and nutrition.
• Actively participate in development, review, and revision of continuous quality improvement programs.
