Job summary

Cura Hospitality is seeking a Part-Time Casual Registered Dietitian to join our team in Parsons, KS. You will identify and assess nutritional needs of patients/residents, initiate interventions to maintain nutritional status, and enhance quality of life consistent with patient goals.

This position is scheduled for 9 hours per week (flexible on days). You will collaborate with the health care team, educate individuals, and ensure compliance with nutrition standards and dining service policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nutrition or related field is required (prior to 2024).
• Master’s degree in Nutrition or related field is required.
• Passes a national exam by the CDR or meets eligibility requirements.
• Completes 75 hours of continuing education every five years per CDR.
• Licensed or certified per state requirements.
• Knowledge of regulation standards for assessments and care planning.

Responsibilities

• Provide nutritional expertise to the healthcare team.
• Educate patients/residents, staff, or consultants on nutrition.
• Follow dietetics standards of practice and facility requirements.
• Help develop and revise continuous quality improvement programs.
