Job summary

Cura Hospitality is seeking a Part-Time Registered Dietitian for Parsons, KS, on-site. You will assess nutritional needs of patients/residents, initiate interventions, and help maintain nutrition status aligned with goals.

The role supports a 9-hour weekly schedule with flexible days, offering opportunities to educate staff, collaborate with the care team, and contribute to quality improvement in a healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nutrition or related field (pre-2024).
• Master’s degree in Nutrition or related field.
• Passed CDR national exam or eligible per Academy requirements.
• Completes 75 hours CE every five years.
• Licensed or certified per state requirements.
• Knowledge of regulation standards for assessments, care planning, residents’ rights.
• Ability to teach others about nutrition and dietetics.

Responsibilities

• Provide nutritional expertise to the health care team and educate patients, staff, or consultants.
• Follow Academy standards of practice and facility regulatory requirements.
• Interact with other departments to set up procedures and policies related to dining service and nutrition.
• Participate in development, review, and revision of continuous quality improvement programs.
