Job summary

Elior North America is seeking an experienced Part-Time Registered Dietitian to join the Meadowbrook healthcare team onsite. You will assess nutritional needs of patients/residents, initiate interventions, and support quality of life consistent with goals, typically about 24 hours per week.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in nutrition (prior to 2024) or related field.
Master’s degree in Nutrition or related field.
Passed a national examination administered by the CDR or eligibility.
Completes 75 hours of continuing education every five years.
Licensed or certified, per state requirements.
Knowledge of regulation standards for assessments, care planning, and residents’ rights.
Ability to teach others about nutrition and dietetics.

Responsibilities

Provide nutritional expertise to the health care team and educate patients/residents, staff, or consultants.
Follow the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics' standards of practice and facility requirements.
Interact with departments to set up procedures and policies in dining service and nutrition.
Participate in development, review, and revision of quality improvement programs.
