Job summary

Elior North America is seeking a Part-Time Registered Dietitian to join the Meadowbrook healthcare team. You will assess nutritional needs, initiate interventions to optimize status, and enhance quality of life aligned with patient goals. Typically scheduled for 24 hours per week.

Responsibilities include providing nutritional guidance to the care team, adhering to standards of practice, coordinating with dining services, and supporting quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nutrition (prior to 2024) required.
• Master's degree in Nutrition or related field.
• Passed a national exam by CDR or eligible per Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics requirements.
• Completes 75 hours of continuing education every five years per CDR.
• Licensed or certified per state requirements.
• Knowledge of regulation standards for assessments, care planning, residents’ rights.
• Ability to teach others about nutrition and dietetics.

Responsibilities

• Provide nutritional expertise to the health care team and educate patients/residents, staff, or consultants.
• Follow Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics standards of practice and facility regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with other departments to set up procedures/policies for dining and nutrition.
• Contribute to development, review, and revision of continuous quality improvement programs.
